We have spoken extensively with Nominet, the UK domain name company, over which is the quickest and most effective way to move your domain name away from your old host.

To transfer to Supanames.co.uk from your host who has ceased trading you must follow these steps:

1) You MUST have proof that you have attempted to contact your old host asking them to change the Nominet Tag on your domain name to SUPANETWORK.    This proof can be in the form of an email, fax or letter and you must allow two days for them to respond.

If they do not carry out the change to the domain record or do not respond then:

2) Print out the proof that you have contacted your old host and allowed them two days to respond.  Now you must compose a short note to be faxed to Nominet UK as follows:
        - The note must be on headed note paper with the registrants name and       
        address displayed.
        - You must request in the note that the Nominet Tag be changed to SUPANETWORK
        - You must sign the note.

3) You must now fax the note AND the proof that you have attempted to contact your old host to Nominet UK on 01865 332288. If everything is correct they will release your domain name to us within the next 4-5 working days.

4) You can now add your domain name to our no-obligation domain transfer system.
